New England in Monochrome

This is for photos taken in New England (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT) that are monochrome. New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania are not part of New England and will not be accepted as group or featured photos. Sepia, greyscale and black and white are all accepted, as are photos that are altered to look like old photos such as one might find in an attic, box stored in someone's basement, etc (I'll add a few to show as examples).

No selective coloring allowed, though I might allow such photos on occasion (though this might change).

No flowers, closeups, etc. Though closeups might be occasionally be accepted if they're emblematic of the area (eg, lobster fishing, maple syrup production, etc).

If it’s not obviously in New England (eg a non iconic landscape or a landmark not well known for being in New England), I ask that you have the location in the title and/or description, though given the rules/regulations here on FAA, it won't be an absolute requirement. Pictures of skylines, nature, buildings, places and so forth are encouraged.

However, I will occasionally allow abstract photos/close ups if taken in New England (and as such, the title and/or description should make it clear that the photo was taken in one of the six New England states). These photos should be the minority of the photos submitted.

Remember to have fun, but let’s keep things civil. As many folks access this site from work, let’s keep the photos safe for work.

I hope that as more people join, we can have promotional threads as well.
